What CodeSeal records
CodeSeal tracks submitted application fingerprints, first-observed timestamps, later revisions, signer claims, source origins, and registry events. Historical records are append-only by design.
What CodeSeal does not decide
Copyright, ownership, authorship, infringement, licensing rights, and lawful possession remain questions for contracts, repositories, copyright registrations, forensic review, legal audits, and appropriate legal venues.
